We hope that everyone enjoyed the Halloween festivities. The children all looked very cute in their costumes. Thanks to all the parents who helped on party day. We couldn't have done it without you. We were glad to see so many families attend the annual Pumpkin Carving Nights. There were some cool pumpkins and great food! SPEECH AND HEARING SCREENING - For the past several years we have had the opportunity to have a speech pathologist, Kristi Tekel, come to our school and do small group screenings for hearing, speech and language assessment. We are pleased to offer this service again on Monday December 8th. Once a child signs up they are assigned a group time to meet with Kristi. Information on the assigned time will come back to you via your child's teacher and/or the school office. The cost is $20 and the checks made out to Kristi Tekel. Forms are available from your child's teacher and/or the school office. This is a wonderful opportunity to check out any speech/language concerns you might have about your child. The last day to sign up for the screening is Friday November 21st. The screening will take place Monday, December 8th, beginning at 9:30 at the Redmond Campus. GIFT WRAP - Thanks so much to everyone who was able to help support the school. Every contribution is appreciated. TOWELS - Getting rid of old kitchen towels before the Holiday company comes??? Think of us. We could use some slightly used hand towels for hand washing, both at the regular sinks and in the classroom. They get covered in paint pretty quickly and most of it just doesn't come completely out. EMERGENCY FORMS - We have collected the Emergency Forms from your child's teacher. If you did not turn one in, we are not going to hound you. We will make the best decision we can in the absence of emergency information. IMPORTANT DATES - November 11th - no school - Veteran's Day; November 27th & 28th - no school - Thanksgiving; Dec. 20th - Jan. 4th - no school - Christmas Break. The staff and I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoying time with family and friends is something to be truly thankful for. Sally.
