SCHOOL NEWS FROM SALLY

I can hardly believe it is time to say good-bye to so many wonderful children and families. Another year has flown by so quickly. We will all miss those sweet smiles and look forward to the threes returning and the older children stopping by for a visit.
PARENT SUPPORT: To all of the parents who volunteered in the classroom, cut projects out at home, made playdough, brought special staff treats, and those who made financial donations to our school thank you, thank you, thank you. Your gift of support is PRICELESS.
ENROLLMENT for Fall 2012: At both the Redmond and Woodinville campuses we have a few remaining openings in our 3s and 4s classes. If you hear of anyone over the summer looking for a class, please have them call the school. I check messages weekly.
REGISTRATION REMINDER for incoming THREES for Fall 2013. For alumni returning with incoming three year olds for Fall 2013, we will begin registering alumni in the threes classes in December. Call to get your class preference. Paperwork will be available on line in January.
PICNIC: This year our picnic will be held at Cottage Lake Park (off the Woodinville Duvall Rd) from 11:00 1:00. Parking will be available at the park. However, parking is limited so PLEASE try to carpool if possible. The staff will be at the park drizzle or shine. With summer school beginning the following week we will be unable to schedule a make-up picnic day. We look forward to seeing everyone there. See attached flyer please.
We as a school are so fortunate to have such wonderful and supportive families, not only to their children but to the staff and other parents as well. These small acts of kindness are always appreciated and never taken for granted. It is truly what contributes to making Best Beginning such a nurturing place for children.

FOURS AND PRE-K GRADUATION INFORMATION
GRADUATION CEREMONIES During the last week of the school year we will be hosting 6 graduations for our fours and Pre-k classes. Each child has made an individual graduation invitation. Please carefully check for the day and time. Graduation means lots of songs, stories, pictures enough to make any parent shed a tear of sadness that this sweet time in their young childrens lives is coming to a close.
On the day of graduation children come for graduation only.
Please drop your child off in their classroom then proceed to the Sanctuary area, be seated and wait for the fun to begin. Extended families are more than welcome. Please make sure that small children remain on your lap rather than running about in the Sanctuary or becoming part of the graduation program. The children have worked very hard and this moment is truly theirs. After the official ceremony join us for shared treats.
We ask that each family contribute a plate of finger food (no cake or frosted items please) to share after the ceremony. Beverages will be provided.
