LUNCH BUNCH

 

Lunch Bunch is Best Beginnings’ optional enrichment/extended day program. This program offers parents the opportunity to extend their child’s day in preparation for longer kindergarten days, or to add an additional school day. Lunch Bunch is available to our 4’s and Pre-K students and is held Monday through Friday from 11:30am – 1:00pm at our Redmond campus and Fridays at our Woodinville campus.

 

DAILY SCHEDULE: Art, music, science and other school-readiness activities are included in our program. Lunch is provided by parents and left in the children’s backpacks. Below is a general outline of the daily schedule of the program. This schedule remains flexible at all times so that we can be sensitive to the fatigue level of the children, especially in the early Fall.

 

 

11:30 – 12:00pm Table time – art, games, writing and alphabet skills
12:00 – 12:30pm Lunch and library time
12:30 – 1:00pm Circle Time & Recess

      

 

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT: Registration forms are available from the office. By registering, you will reserve your child a spot on your preferred day(s). No advance payment is required for Lunch Bunch. Payment will be made along with your monthly class tuition beginning in October.

 

Like all of our other classes, tuition is payable even if your child is absent (e.g. sick, on vacation, etc). Tuition is $42/month for 1 day/week, $84/month for 2 days/week and $126/month for 3 days/week (which works out to be $11/day).  Two weeks notice in writing is necessary to make any changes in the number of scheduled days.

 

DROP-IN: A drop-in option is also available, as long as a class is not full or if there is an absence. The drop-in fee is $15/day and is payable at the time your child attends. Please indicate on the registration form if this is an option you may be interested in.
